As Founder and Managing Partner of The Oliver Group, Brian leads a group of professionals who excel at litigation support technologies and processes.
Brian has nearly 20 years of technology experience, nearly half of which has been spent in litigation support technologies. With his extensive forensic technology background, Brian is regarded an industry expert, and has developed several of the proprietary technologies used by The Oliver Group.
Brian began his career in the US Air force as a Telecommunications/ Cryptographic Systems Specialist. After completion of his tour of duty in 1989, he held several management positions at a variety of technology companies along the East Coast, including Engineering Resources, Inc., Delphi Internet Services, New England Computer Resources and Foxwoods Resort Casino. In 1997, Brian decided to establish his own technology business, Botech, which has since grown to become The Oliver Group.
Brian has established The Oliver Group as a leader in litigation support technologies. Over the past several years, Brian has managed data restoration projects for some of the largest, and most highly publicized litigation cases. In 2002, Brian was selected to lead the data collection and restoration for a landmark bankruptcy case. This large scale project was completed in accordance with the most stringent security and data integrity requirements.
Today, Brian provides leadership and strategic direction to the business and technological development of The Oliver Group. Under Brian’s direction, The Oliver Group has grown to become a recognized leader in the litigation support industry, with a nationwide client base consisting of the country’s largest law firms, corporations, and Electronic Data Discovery companies.

As a partner in The Oliver Group, Dean brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise to The Oliver Group Executive Team.
Dean has been involved with electronic evidence discovery since 1996. As Chief Technology Officer at Ibis Consulting, Dean was responsible for all aspects of technologies and process methodologies used in both day-to-day operations and development efforts. As an executive member of Ibis and part of the management team, Dean had a crucial role in the strategic planning for the organization and its growth in the legal market.
Dean has also developed expertise in data security through his position as Network Manager of Global Risk Exchange, a global technology risk management company. As Network Manager, Dean designed, implemented and managed a global infrastructure built exclusively for secure, verified connections. Prior to 1996, Dean was employed as a technology manager for Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut.
With 12 years of technology experience, more than half of which have been spent in the field of litigation support, Dean recognizes the value of applying a technical approach to complex litigation matters. Dean utilizes his depth of knowledge to effectively manage the relationship between the media restoration technologies provided by The Oliver Group and the EDD processes of its clients. Dean’s management of the relationships between The Oliver Group and its clients ensures that The Oliver Group can optimally meet the needs of its clients. Dean has been instrumental in the rapid expansion of The Oliver Group’s strategic alliance program, and continues to develop new business opportunities and client relationships. |
As a core member of the Executive Team, Dean is also active in the development of The Oliver Group’s strategy and policy.

John joins The Oliver Group as COO, with a focus on enhancing the services provided to its key partners in the litigation support arena. John's extensive background in enterprise data management and systems development will help TOG deliver new applications, tools and consulting services to its diverse client base. John's accomplishments include founding and acting as Chief Information Officer of the Global Risk Exchange, an international platform for Global Risk and Insurance Technology, he also acts as the Managing Partner of Senjiva, LLC; (www.senjiva.com) Senjiva optimizes organizations by improving core business processes and mission critical technologies.
As the COO of The Oliver Group, John's focus will be exclusively driven towards to the growth of The Oliver Group's Technology and Litigation Support data collection, culling and conversion capabilities. Under John's direction, the already experienced and knowledgeable Technology Teams will excel in the area of creating technological solutions which not only meet but exceed Litigation Support requests.
